What is a breathing timer?
A breathing timer is a visual pacer that guides the length of your inhale, holds, and exhale so you do not have to count in your head. You simply follow the circle as it expands and shrinks.
How do I use this breathing timer?
Pick a preset like box breathing or 4-7-8, or set your own inhale, hold, exhale, and hold-out times with the steppers. Choose how many minutes you want, then press start and breathe with the visual.
What is a good breathing pattern to start with?
Box breathing (4-4-4-4) is a great default — calming and easy to follow. For sleep, try 4-7-8. For a steady daily calm, try coherent breathing at 5 in and 5 out.
Is the breathing timer free?
Yes — it is completely free, works in your browser on any device, and needs no account or download.
